Paula Garelick is the Celebration Director of G&H. She makes it her mission to ensure your event is exactly the way you dreamed it to be. Paula, whose given name is Paola, is everywhere – you could find her ringing up customers behind the counter at Garelick & Herbs just as easily as you could find her working behind the scenes of an event at Mora Mora. Paula’s background in merchandising makes her a visual mastermind. She has an impeccable eye that influences the eclectic mix of merchandise stocked in the stores, as well as their artistic displays. Paula has always dreamed of using her creative hospitality skills to provide personalized, unique and unforgettable events for families in her community. Now, 2 children, 2 dogs, 50 employees, 4 stores, and 2 catering venues later, she still dedicates 6 days a week to fulfilling that dream.
Jason Garelick is the co-founder of and culinary force behind Garelick & Herbs. His degree in business helps him manage the day-to-day activities of the stores. Since childhood, he’s had a passion for food and all things culinary – it’s always been a dream of his to open a gourmet market and catering company. He is passionate about learning about all different types of food, and uses this knowledge to creatively enhance the selection of foods at Garelick & Herbs. Jason is always on the look out for the next great dish. One of Jason’s great joys is seeing his daughters get involved with the stores and watching them become the next generation of Garelick & Herbs.
Our reputation stems from the work we do as a cohesive team. We appreciate the strength of togetherness and the meaning of community. That is why we believe in giving back to the communities we do business in. We happily contribute to many local fundraisers and support local school events with advertising.
